The Department of Management as a part of Department Level Extension activity organized a cleanliness awareness drive among the children of migrant construction workers located at K.Narayanapura and Kothanur on the 1st and 2nd of October 2021 as a mark of commemorating the 152nd Birthday of Mahatma Gandhi.

The drive was conducted by the students of the fifth semester in two different localities with the support of the teacher coordinator and class animators. Students conducted the drive and created awareness about cleanliness and its importance in the current scenario. The students made children involve in the activity by explaining to them about Gandhiji and his principles. They emphasized the relevance of cleanliness and also provided them with some of the ways in which they can keep their environment clean and neat.

On the 2nd of October 2021, the Department organized competitions in Poetry Writing, Creative writing, and Poster making for their III semester BBA students. An awareness program promoting Gandhian thoughts was also conducted. The I Semester BBA students participated in the online Quiz which focused on creating awareness about Gandhian Taught and Philosophy. 

The day was special for both the student participants and the community. The day created a lot of awareness on cleanliness, health, and hygiene. It also brought happiness and joy among the participants as they were involved in real-time learning.
